Very knowledgeable on estate planning in Michigan, and very easy to deal with. I would recommend with no reservations.

We had an initial consultation with Lisa Beatty for our mother in law. Though we live in Georgia, our mother in law is a Michigan resident and Lisa set up a Zoom/phone call to explain our options for Estate Planning and Medicaid assistance. After owning my small business and founding a non profit, working with knowledgable attorneys is a must. Lisa is fantastic. She spent time explaining (in detail) the Medicaid planning and Estate planning for our mother in law. We will recommend her to our mother in law for her Estate planning needs.

Beginning in 2002 with a referral from a lawyer friend of ours, my wife and I did our trusts. Since then, we have revised them, arranged for him to do my in-laws' trusts and recently had my mother's done. Mr. Lindsay has been easy to deal with, prompt, friendly and accurate each time. I would not hestitate to recommend him. Update: In 2024 we consolidated into a new family trust. As always we received excellent advice, the preparation was thorough and instructions to fund the trust were clear. They even coordinated with our investment management firm to update the beneficiary name to the new trust across our accounts.

For most people, working on a will or trust is a scary experience. For my husband and I, it was a thoughtful and pleasant event. My husband and I are growing older and wanted to be prepared if anything were to happen to one or both of us. We attended an estate planning class taught by Christopher Lindsey and found it so informative and helpful, we decided to use his firm to set up a trust, prepare a will, and set up medical and legal powers of attorney.

The firm made the process very easy. It was very easy to schedule our meetings and the administrative assistant Brenda was so helpful and extremely professional and courteous. We had two meetings with Christopher, first to discuss our wishes and then to review the documents and discuss next steps. We were given the option to meet either in person in their Ann Arbor office space or via Zoom. We had one additional meeting with paralegal Melanie in person so we could sign all the documents. After signing we were sent an electronic copy of all the documents and also received a notebook with print copies.
